Outlook Calendaring
7 March, 20107 March, 2010 0 comments Information Technology Information Technology

If you are like me you live on your handheld device.  That handheld device is most likely connected to Microsoft Outlook back on your main computer in the office.  I am the type of individual that lives in a constantly changing schedule therefore I spend a lot of time in Outlook or on my handheld changing my appointments.  In addition, I work in a service industry which can be very difficult to schedule at times and is always constantly changing.

One of the most difficult things I've found about outlook is that as I try to schedule different things to do and appointments throughout my calendar it's always in 30 minute increments throughout the day.  It would be very convenient if I could schedule some items in 10 minute increments or 15 minute increments, particularly smaller tasks.

Well there is a way to do just that, it's just not easy to find!  If this would be helpful to you as well, try this: right click in your main calendar window and go down to "Other Settings", you'll then see a "Time Scale" and you can set it to whatever you prefer.

Use Outlook on your terms!
